Serving Kenya With Heart and Purpose
Partnering With Kenyan Communities Through Service and Support
Mission teams in Kenya serve alongside local staff to support children, families, and communities through education, healthcare, outreach, and practical acts of love. Each team comes to strengthen—not replace—the incredible work already happening in Kenya.
Can you give me a sample trip itinerary?
Classic Team Itinerary (WITH Optional) SAFARI – safari cost would be added to BASE team cost
Wednesday: Depart home and meet with your teammates while traveling or in Nairobi, Kenya.
Thursday: You should arrive in Nairobi on Thursday before 10 PM. Our drivers will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel, where you will spend the night.
Friday: Travel from Nairobi to Migori. You will be greeted and entertained by the children of Brittney’s Home of Grace.
Saturday: You will begin the day with a tour of our compound. After lunch, you will visit the home of one of our orphans to experience real life in Migori.
Sunday: Your team will attend church with our kids and then return to the compound to spend the remainder of the morning enjoying the kids.
Medical Teams will finish the day with orientation and seeing patients in the clinic.
Non-medical teams begin working on projects that are team-specific
Monday: Clinic or Project Work
Tuesday: Clinic or Project Work
Wednesday: Clinic or Project Work
Thursday: Depart Migori early morning and travel for first day of safari, if participating
Friday: Breakfast followed by safari, lunch, afternoon safari, and dinner
Saturday: Depart your safari lodge and travel to Nairobi for late evening departure (after 9 PM)

We offer team members the option to stay on campus longer, if they want to serve longer instead of joining a safari. Please ask if you would be interested in doing this.

How Can I Support Kenya Relief Aside From Missions?
Kenya Relief relies primarily on individual donors, and general support is the most powerful way to fuel all of our programs—from healthcare to education to the children’s home. Still, if a particular area speaks to your heart, you’re welcome to designate your gifs.
