Be part of the 2023 Education Team 13 – June 21 – July 2, 2023.

There are many opportunities to serve the 150 orphans living at Brittney’s Home of Grace and the 600 students at Kenya Relief Academy including:

  • Conducting a seminar for area teachers to further develop teaching fundamentals, techniques related to their new curriculum, and team building activities.
  • Facilitating fun rotations with Brittney Home of Grace’s orphans focusing on interactive activities in math, science, writing, art, music, dance, soccer.
  • Participating in Brittney’s Home of Grace’s special Sunday Worship Service.
  • Presenting lessons in individual classrooms at Kenya Relief Academy modeling teaching strategies in various subject areas that feature student involvement, communication,  and working in small groups.
  • Interacting with the orphans by helping struggling students in academics, playing games with others to build social skills, and leading soccer practices.
  • Providing textbooks for orphan students.
  • Team Building sessions with Kenya Relief staff.
  • Inviting soccer coaches and players to build up the new soccer program at Kenya Relief Academy by leading times of devotion, testimony, skill-building, and practice.
  • Going on a two-day safari through the Mara.

Above all else, the Education Team strives to touch the students/ staff with the love and message of Jesus by meeting their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

The total cost for the trip is $1900 (plus airfare $1300- $1900) all-inclusive: meals, laundry, transport, security, accommodations, and two full days of safari.
