The Turkana area of Kenya is in a severe drought. Our relief is on the way. We sent a 40 foot container filled with enough food to provide a half million meals.

We have paid the shipping cost of $6,200.00 but will need 7,500 more to cover port charges and trucking expenses to deliver the food to these remote areas.

The container will arrive in Mombasa on Feb. 6th 2010 and in about one week it will be sent to Nairobi for distribution to various remote area’s of need in the drought stricken area’s. The distribution will be coordinated by Joe Conn of kenyarelief.org and CF Children’s Fund of Kenya. Will you pray that Joe his wife Cissie and Doctor Jon Robert will have a safe trip and that the funds for them to distribute the food will be provided.
