Why Kenyarelief.org?

Kenyarelief.org is a faith-based non-profit organization which offers opportunities for missioners of all denominations. KR mission trips are unique in that we expose each team member to behind-the- scenes experiences. You'll not only participate in your field of expertise but you will be exposed to to real Kenyan life. Traveling 8 hours across the magnificent Great Rift Valley you will view many different people, landscapes and wildlife. You will be welcomed by smiles of singing orphans at Brittney's Home of Grace and will lodge at the Brittney House within the same compound. Your team will attend a local church service to experience a very fresh look at worship “Kenyan Style”. Medical Teams touring a local hospital will witness the hardships of Kenyan health care workers and interact with patients on the wards. When you visit the hut of an orphan you'll see for yourself the reality of abject poverty and the plight that over a million Kenyan orphans face. You will work long days, eat delicious meals and enjoy playtime with the children and fellowship with your Teammates. Teams complete their African adventure with a 3 day/2 night safari with game drives and a visit within the village of Masai or Samburu natives.

Non-Medical Mission Opportunities

Whether you are traveling by yourself or with a small group of friends, on a KR Mission you'll reach out to people in need and be challenged toward a deeper walk with God. You'll travel to amazing places and make an eternal difference in the lives of the people you serve. Although most of our positions require professional medical staff, each team has openings for those to assist with procedures, transfer patients or help in other ways. Do you have skills and interest in joining a team of teachers or engineers and carpenters? KR also leads groups to work at the orphanage or in the local community. Kenyarelief.org has sponsored many Evangelical Teams, Pastors' Training Conferences and Vacation Bible Schools in Migori, Kenya. Our annual VBS is open to qualified believers should you wish to “test the waters” before bringing your own team. Rely on our experience to give your mission a wonderful experience!
